Of course, it wasn’t a total waste. I actually had never seen the kid’s section of the park. And I was totally enjoying the art on the walls. And I’d like to say that while this seems like just scribbly-scrawlings (and some that definitely aren’t scribbly scrawlings) from kids that have absolutely no relevance to your life, take a look. Look at the happiness within. These kids got to paint freely on the walls and this is what they did.
It’s a pretty nice little playground. So if you have small kids and in you’re in Jacó, there’s always this.
Then I decided to photograph some of the flora in the park. Really, just a beautifully maintained park.
Then I left.
As I was leaving, I saw this famished and tired looking pooch. So sad. There’s a good local organization, McKee Jacó, that helps strays so I sent them a photo and they’re already on the case! Woohoo!
And that was my day. Not really a waste of time at all in retrospect. 🙂
